SHORT-TERM IMPLEMENTATION
Strategy and Business Planning for Eastern Africa Grain Council (EAGC)
The Eastern Africa Grain Council (EAGC) is one of EAMDA’s clients that the firm has helped to achieve success in Strategy and Business Planning. EAMDA facilitated the development of the 2013-2017 business plan for the grain sector membership organization.
EAMDA also facilitated the development of EAGC’s 2018-2022 strategic plan, which provided a roadmap for achieving the organization’s long-term goals. The firm conducted a scoping study for a grain intervention that focused on the Council’s ten member countries, providing EAGC with insights into the challenges and opportunities in the region.
EAMDA also worked with EAGC to develop the organization’s 2022-2027 strategic plan. The development process involved a detailed assessment of the impact, successes, and learnings from EAGC’s two-year intervention in Improving Compliance with Maize Quality Standards along Trade Corridors in East Africa. The assessment helped EAGC identify improvement areas and refine its strategies to achieve its long-term goals. EAMDA’s partnership with EAGC demonstrates its commitment to helping organizations achieve success through effective strategy and business planning.
